XFPS 4.0 Speed controller problem

Hi to all, I just bought a XFPS 4.0 speed for my XBOX 360 (one of the latest elite models with hdmi and 120GB drive).
I also bought a MADCATZ wired controller just for the XFPS.

The problem is that it doesn't work: I plug the XFPS in the XBOX, the xfps light is flashing green, but when I plug the controller, nothing happens and the light keeps flashing green. This is regardless of the PC<->Controller switch position.

Are there any compatibility issues with elite xbox models or madcatz controller or my XFPS is a DOA?

PS: of course the madcatz controller works well connected directly to the console...

Just an update to this thread... I see that XCM support is not helping much :-)

Anyway I had the chance to get an original wired Microsoft XBOX 360 controller: I tested it ant it works... Well I just plugged in the XFPS and the MS controller and I see changing the led color and the XBOX recognizing it, but now I don't have the time to game-testing it.

So it seems that XCM XFPS 4.0 speed is not compatitible with a MADCATZ wired controller.... Maybe I'll follow up the thread just to see if everything works during play.
