Did the lights work ok when you first put it together? If so then its got to be something else. First thing is try some fresh alkaline batteries, not a rechargeable battery pack, but fresh AA alkaline batteries. If that doesn't help, give us abit more info and we'll try to help the best we can. The controller cases with leds are really simple to install so it can't be much that could be wrong. Theres 3 wires at the most, so it shouldn't be too hard to troubleshoot.

First of all did the led lights ever work? If so then we need to approach this differently. Secondly which version of controller pcb do you have, v1 or v2? Let us know and we'll try to help the best we can.

You should have known what version it was before soldering the wires. Did you solder wires to the pcb of your controller?
