Default XFPS 4.0 Speed Software issue

Hi Guys,

I having a problem with the xfps 4.0 speed software I get it all setup and connected red light and all that, then if i press start on the default configuration (treetfighter i think its called) it all works and the mouse and keyboard work great.

However when i try to configure it to my tastes using the map function the map button doesn't do anything, i click it and nothing happens. I can create new configs but the map button doesn't work for them either.

Any suggestions? Does the software run on ms framework and i may have older version?? Can i get someone whos map button is working to create me a bin file with my config preferences???? (i can explain this further if you need help making bin file)

Please Help

Matt

I have used it on server 2003 and windows 7.

1. Connect the xfps to the xbox. (I don't start the software on the PC yet)

2. Plug in the wired controller and let it connect.

3. Flip xfps to PC and then unplug the controller.

4. Connect the xfps to the PC and let the orange light stop flashing.

5. Open the software and set up button configs.

Figured it out, I did a clean install of XP to see if it was a program i had installed on the old XP install and i got the same problem of the map button not functioning. I also tried v1.2 on 2 other XP machines and same problem.

So i did a clean install of Windows 7 and it worked first time.

So v1.2 defintely has issue with xp, i will inform the xcm team about this.
