Default XFPS 4.0 and MW2....

I don't know about others...

But 4.0 SUCKS with Modern Warfare 2.

Application works fine.

Keyboard settings work fine.

its the Mouse.

I can't get mouse to work correctly.

When I move mouse UP it tends to go up right or up left.

Moving the mouse Left and/or Right is slow.

I tried Logitech G# mouse, Razer Naga, another razer mouse, Trackball mouse.

Tried changing sensitivity on the GAME, OS, Mouse application (DPI).

Could be just me...

Does anyone else having this problem? or No problem with 4.0 and MW2?

I am having the same problem. I am going to give it another try tonight to screw with the settings but this seems like a software issue of some kind.

Well after messing with it, I can't fully get rid of the zig-zag effect. No matter what I do it just won't act normally when moving straight up and straight down.

XCM,
Any thoughts on this?

Perhaps. How would one attempt to resolve this?

It seems that the xfps might be trying to hook into a HID slot and it might be getting crossed up. You might want to remove any other joysticks/gamepad from your devices, or like mnifield said, try calibrating a gamepad device.

I don't have an xfps 4.0, but i downloaded the software to check it out a bit. I have a 3Dconnexion space navigator HID that seems to cause the xfps software to go nuts. The app menus don't do anything and makes error sounds. In looking at whatever hooks I can, it seems to be erroring with loading something from the 3d device. I could be completely wrong but it seems likely.

Let us know if you find out anything.

I doubt this would fix it since the 4.0 tricks xbox thinking you still have xbox controller connected to it.

For example: if you connect your wired controll to xpfs -> unplug the controller, xbox doesn't recognizes that controller is unplugged. So I doubt calibrating the controller would do anything... since I know the controller works fine since I played with it without XFPS....

But I will still try tonight and this 1.2 software they released...

Hope it works

It won't let me calibrate the gamepad. When I bring up the calibration in windows, the mouse and keyboard doesn't do anything. So I go to the xfps software and try to start it and it can't find the xfps, I'm guessing because windows has the gamepad locked down while the calibration is going on. Do you know of another way to calibrate it? I thought of just plugging in the wired controller into the PC and running a calibration, but I don't think Windows will see the controller and the xfps as the same device.
