I picked one of these up early, just days after being available, and I've been working with it, the software and MW2 since version 1.0 . I have been watching the forums here and seeing others suffer the same issues I was having. I started to lose any hope for this device and the money I have put into it. With all of that said I feel as though I owe it to XCM to come and make my post on the latest version(s) of the software. 1.41– handles good, great reaction with the finest movements of the mouse. Just a wonderful improvement in MW2. Biggest issue I have noticed with this is that with a prolonged movement, say turning 90 degrees, if you do that rather quick it drifts just the slightest bit when you stop the mouse. Nothing major and pulls right back with ease. It is like the input does a fade out when you stop the mouse. I also found this version just a touch jittery, like it was snapping, but I was looking through the options in the game and turned off Aim Assist and that little bit of jitter seemed to clear right up. 1.42– First thing that struck me about this version was how smooth and fluid the movement was with it. That said I found it had just a little of a dead zone and the controls seem to lag behind my mouse movement. 1.43and 1.44 – I'll put these together as I have about the same thing to say about them both in regard to MW2. Too much dead zone and jittery movement. So in my case my current setup is: 1.41 zoom scale (X & Y) = 4.2 MW2 sensitivity = medium aim assist = disabled I have to say, this plays really good for me. I hope this can help others and the XCM team out a little. Thanks |

I too tried his settings and while it was the best I was able to find the results are pretty terrible. The control of the mouse feels sluggish and it feels like there is no acceleration built into the software. I think this is an important feature that needs to come with this device to truly make it worth the money. Right now I wish I hadn't purchased this device.

Well, I got mine in the mail today, tried various recommended settings, and I can't honestly say I'm satisfied yet. 1.41 did run a lot better than 1.50 on mw2, and the other guys zoom settings we're better than what I had, however its still not just a smooth turn, which is what I was hoping for. While sniping the scopes cross hairs move slowly and are quite jumpy, making head shots a little more difficult. I guess it responds on how quickly you move your mouse to simulate how far your thumb stick is tilted. I cannot, controller or mouse, play any shooter on low-medium sensitivity, I wanted to use a mouse that way I could have a higher level of sensitivity and better control, but I have not gotten what I was looking for yet. So far the product for $100 is pretty disappointing and it doesn't even do what I want it to. It's great, and works for pretty much every other button, navigating menu's kind of confused me at first...but if it weren't for the jumpy mouse, zig zag, lazy list, sensitivity issues...it would probably be acceptable, but for now I absolutely cannot use this as my primary controlling device. Another problem..and I have no real need for it but figured I'd point it out...is the turbo really blows on this. At least compared to most rapid fire triggers, on most weapons it will actually slow them down as opposed to what I can click/pull the trigger. But...there are some single fire weapons that it'll basically just make them fully auto, but not ridiculously fast. |

i would have to say that this XFPS is by far the worst investment i have ever made, the keyboard works great! but if you plan on playing MW2 with the mouse then be prepared to die, ALOT the aiming is jittery, slow response, i got this to improve my aiming but it made it worse, i have tried 3 different mouses (wired PS/2, Wired USB and wireless laser MX revolution) everyone performed just as bad as the next, i have even tried different operation systems, still bad, every conceivable combination of sensitivity in game and with the XFPS software. So its my conclusion that it is the hardware, now i just need to try and re-sell the thing and get some of my money back, im going to attempt the XIM and see if that fares better.
