Hey guys... in fighting with my XFPS, i have noticed that it can be very touchy, expensive, and a pain in the arse to get an XFPS working. Also, there is a serious lack of detail on compatability and what works other than "you need a wired controller". So i figure i'll make an attempt at a list.... What i'm using as of now (11/10/09)... XFPS Sniper (green one) Madcatz white wired controller (bought from fry's, says madcatz on handle) Logitech G5 wired usb mouse (stutters a bit, not as bad on full 1600 dpi, i think) Old crappy ps2 keyboard I had a gamestop wired controller that stopped working after a xbox update I bought a Wolf King gaming mouse (supposedly 2400 dpi) which does not work with the XFPS... I'd recommend using a keyboard or mouse that has a ps2 so you can plug in the controller keyboard and mouse all at the same time... Be ready if you plan to use this... its kinda a pain, its touchy, and i won't even go into the product support topic... Thanks guys, hope this helps... |

I'm sorry we don't have the resources to list what all works and what doesn't but if users like yourself can start a topic and keep it updated with what does and doesn't then it will help everyone out. Thanks for letting us know what is working for you, it will go along ways into helping future users out.

Team XCM, No problem, and thank you very much for the acknowledgement response. I didn't mean to sound snippy in my post, it has just been fairly frustrating. I completely understand your teams point of view, and I hope that I am of some help. I think you have a great product here, and don't deny that there are lot of nuances. Much like your response to me, even the acknowledgement of these issues and posts is respected and appreciated. I support your efforts as much as possible. Let me know if I can help with anything and I will continue to assist other users where possible. Keep up the good work! -Adam |
