XFPS Sniper Pro Plus

Very interesting...
I have the same problem with my XFPS Sniper that stopped working at the end of october...

My 3rd party wired controller is a madcatz kinda controller that i originally got at gamestop for use with my XFPS... the only thing that looks different with the walmart or bestbuy ones is the name label (mine says gamestop at the top, not madcatz on the handle)... does that make a difference? can anyone confirm?
if not i might just try to get a bestbuy madcatz and try it... im dying to use it on CODMW2

I had originally bought a joytech wired controller from gamestop and that worked for about 5 months up until that last update. I also noticed when the update kicked off...it logged me out of xbox live then back in but wanted to do the update again which was weird so I ran it again and I guess it went through. So I scoured the internet for a solution and stumbled across a forum that was a couple of years old. That is where I got controller solution from. they had posted a you tube vid of the problem I was having so it seemed legit. I then went to gamestop and picked up a wired official MS controller *used* and I then went to walmart and grabbed a brand new Madcatz controller to test out the functionality betwen the two. I did this because folks where saying that the official MS controller don't work and that you HAVE to use a "ms certified" 3rd party controller and madcatz met that criteria. I tested the MS controller and it worked but it also kept losing it's connection to xfps and I had to keep unplugging and replugging it back in. I then broke out the brand new madcatz and it worked perfectly and there have been no issues ( I like it better than the previous joytech controller which was also used) I don't know how dependable those gamestop ones are I saw a couple of them but I did not want to take any chances . I will be returning that MS piece of crap to gamestop since I'm still in my 7 day trial. Hope that helps. Now to order my CODMWF2 copy!

I have the same control you are referring to that has the "GAMESTOP" logo above the START/SELECT buttons. This stopped working for me and i tried out the new MADCATZ control and that seemed to fix it. Too bad I already purchased a XIM360 before realizing this fix. All is well though I was able to sell it on ebay to get some type of $ for the XFPS

bought it from ebay they dont have any in stock from when i checked last night, it was a hefty price too but oh well.

I like how team XCM doesnt even respond in their own forum for their customers. Great customer service. We'll see how long they last.

well the update is it worked! I went out last night and got the madcatz controller (specifically the white one that says madcatz on the handle) and it seems to be working well! had to plug in and out the usb a few times to work out the kinks but it up and running, just in time for CODMW2...

On a side note i also bought an extra mouse by "wolf king", that apparently does not work with the XFPS either... I know its not a well known mouse so shame on me, but it was cheap and supposedly has a high dpi...guess i'll have to steal my logitech g5 again for my xbox..

anyways thanks again guys! ya'll rock, and are better at support than the support team!
