Hi, I recently purchase a XCM Smoke black controller shell and am having problems putting it back together. All the lights work but for the life of me, I can't get the bottom half to snap together with the top half. As a temporary solution, I am using the original black bottom half of my controller with the clear top half XCM shell. Is this a common issue or did I just get unlucky with a deformed product? I'll also note that the XCM bottom half won't snap together with the original top half so I've concluded that the bottom half is defective in some way. I maybe doing something wrong so any help would be appreciated. |

first, check and make sure the screw hole that is covered by the battery is popping into the board(top half of shell) You may need to take a blade and shave alil off the edge. Once you have that, make sure the headphone jack rests in its little divot. be sure the bumpers and sync button are working. After that, make sure you slide the battery prongs in, press the triggers to get it over the top, then straight down. It does take alil getting used to.
