Hello, I just got my rapid fire lite mod in the mail and I already messed up one of my controllers because of it . So before starting my 2nd controller I would like to ask some questions about doing this mod.-Note: This is for a v2 controller, and I don't want to do the easy install- 1) What is the best technique for taking off the insulation for the soldering points? 2) Where are the connecting points for RTI, RTO, GND, and the + for both the controlled circuit board and the actual rapid fire mod? 3) How in god's green earth are you supposed to put the PCB ribbon cable into the socket on the bottom half of the controller case? Any help would be appreciated and I am sure I will have more questions |

First of all you need lots of patience, th is mod id a nightmare and a half. To remove the insulation or layer of enamel on top of the pcb just use an exacto knife and scrape lightly until you see copper. The points for installation are on the diagram, which can be downloaded and magnified so you can see exactly where they go.
