Hi all, Have purchased the subject cable to connect my 1st gen XBox 360 to my LCD TV. After I connect the cable from the XBox 360 to my TV, I switched it on and tried to change the setting to 1080p. However, after numerous tries, it fails to detect the 1080p setting and always revert to the most basic of 480p. This happens too when I tried to set it to 720p or 1080i. The system just fails to detect a higher setting. Btw the TV I am using is Samsung LN37A550, which is capable of displaying up to 1080p. Please advise and help. |

Try another hdmi cable and see if that helps. Otherwise it might be the unit itself with problems, you might try and get a replacement.
