I turned on my 360, plugged in the XCM Cross Fire Converter. It blinked green. I plugged my wired 360 controller in the converter. It still blinked green and the controller worked. Concerning to the video guide below it should have stayed green instead of blinking. I plugged out the 360 controller. It still blinked green but it should have blinked red and green. Plugged in my wired PS3 controller in. It still blinked green but the PS3 controller didn't even turn on. It didn't work. The 360 controller was still working wireless by the way. I read the short manual that came with my XCM Cross Fire Converter and I also wathed this video guide. It just didn't work. Can you guys please tell me how I can use my PS3 controller on my 360? Thanks in advance! ![]() EDIT: All switchers (buttons) are on the bottom (default). I tried it again, this time without batteries/accumulator so it was wired only. I plugged the wired 360 pad into my 360 to see if it works. Indeed, it worked, Now I turned off my console and unplugged everything. Turned on my 360 and waited till it reached the menu screen. I plugged in my converter and it blinked green. Now I connected my wired 360 pad with the converter and it kept blinking green instead of staying green. And my 360 didn't recognize the controller automatically unlike we can see it in the video guide. I have to press the Xbox button on my controller in order to have my 360 recognizing the contriller via XCM converter. Even after that it kept blinking green. Connect the wired controller to the unit then plug it in and boot the console, once it has initialized then unplug the 360 wired controller and plug in your ps3 wireless controller via the usb cord, that should get you going.

I plugged my wired 360 pad into the XCM and then the XCM into my 360. I started the console and the XCM started blinking green and my 360 controller's charger blinked red. The console didn't detect the controller. I couldn't even turn on the controller by pressing the 360 button on it. I unplugged it and the XCM started blinking faster (still in green). Plugged in my PS3 controller but without any change. The XCM was still blinking fast and my PS3 pad stayed undetected. Even pressing the PS button didn't turn it on. |

You need to use a dedicated wired 360 controller, not a wireless with plug and charge kit.
