About the warranty???

Hi. Im new here. I just wanted to ask does installing the chrome replacement case on a xbox 360 void its warranty?
Also can you use the xcm chrome controller shell w/LED without installing the LED???

Yes it will void the warrantee, but you can get the console fixed from 3rd parties much quicker than sending it to ms. One problem with sending it off to ms is you'll get someone elses console back which may or may not be in as good of condition and yours was in. Also your downloaded arcade games will only allow you to play the unlocked version when logged into xbox live.

You can install the chrome case without the leds, but the install for the leds is really easy. You do need to solder 3 wires but the points you solder them to are huge. Just grab a cheap soldering iron at radio shack for $10 and some solder for $2 and in about 10 minutes the 3 wires will be soldered and your controller will light up with the press of a button. Trust me the install is easy and you'll be glad you did. You can always turn the lights off to conserve battery life, but honestly the leds don't eat up much juice in the first place.
