Default XFPS 360 sniper plus making mouse going bananas!

Hello there,

I just bought the XFPS 3.0 Sniper Plus and I have an issue.

It connects to the xbox alright, but the default maping is wrong for the mouse. Instead of of moving the view up&wond / left&right while moving the mouse, it just shoots while moving up or moves up when moving left. Total crazy, and it is impossible to remap it properly from the XFPS. It does not allow me to do anything. The keyboard works perfect though.

Is there a solution for this?
thanks!

/covo.

I'd like any help with this if possible. Mailing XCM does not help at all.

Anyone has the same issue?

Did you try another mouse?

tried two different mice. A labtec and a dell. I could not even map the normal buttons 1 and 2. XY axis in mouse is just mental. No way to remap it.

the PS/2 adapters for keyboard and mouse (the purple and green) don't work either, I have to connect the keyboard and mouse through usb, which is ok but I'd like to have the xbox controller to plug in the headset.

You need to use the wireless headset. It seems the unit might be defective, contact the retailer and ask for a replacement.

Hi.

Well I got it replaced and the new one came yesterday by post.

Again the same issue exactly. The keyboard works perfectly but not the mouse.

The labtec mouse would not respond at all, with the Dell mouse is different. When moving the XY axis again, it shoots the weapon. Mouse buttons with the Dell are not responding at all..

maybe is the mouse? does the Sniper plus work only with certain mice?

Or else maybe is the controller?

any answers to this?

I have this same exact issue with my new XFPS 360 sniper. Any help out there?

I would suspect that it is still a mouse issue... I know that i have tried a few mice. Although I haven't gotten the mismap issue they just don't seem to respond. I tried a wolfking mouse that did not respond and another basic ball mouse that i don't think worked. I have used a logitech g5 and a m$ sidewinder x5 just fine though. (I have a post where i started a compatability list). If possible i'd recommend getting a high dpi one anyways as with low dpi ones i've noticed a lot of stuttering. A pain i know, and i don't believe much in the "just buy more" approach, but that may be what ya need. If you do, just keep your reciept, and if it doesn't work it may be a problem with your xfps. Mine has been very touchy so i wouldn't doubt it.

Jeffrey, what type of mouse and setup are you using?
