XCM Chrome wireless controller shell fit probs.

Hi guys, first post here.

Bought myself the blue led version of the chrome controller shell, looks very nice however i've noticed the fit of the battery cover leaves alot to be desired on the particular sample i recieved.

The problem i have is the battery cover that was included fits rather loose and hangs down about 4mm off the join where it clips into the controller, if i use a microsoft oem battery cover it is a little better but still not snug like a stock controller and still hangs down a little.

My question in regards to above is, is my problem just my particular unit or are they like this buy design? i have actually sent my current one back to place of purchase who are going to send a replacement soon as they receive the one i sent back.

Hopefully the replacement will be better fitting for the battery cover.
