PSP 2000 faceplate fits a 3000?

Hey, I'm brand new to the PSP.
To the modding, and all of this.

My PSP is coming in a day or two, and in my excitement, I couldn't help but look up gameplay videos and such, and then I stumbled across MODDED PSPs!

I probably can't do that, what with the LED lights, and UMD door thing, but I really do want to make my PSP my own.

I am getting a Piano Black PSP 3000, and I kinda want a white one; but then I saw faceplates, and I think a Dual-tone White Front/Black back would be just as cool.

I thought, "It's settled then! I'm getting a white faceplate! Woohoo!"

The trouble is, I can't find one

Will a white faceplate for a PSP slim 2000 fit my PSP 3000?
I thought WAIT A SECOND, the face buttons are shaped differently, and the Action buttons have a concave sort of thing going on.

I watched a video where the faceplate comes with a screwdriver, all of the buttons, etc.

Do all faceplates come with those?

Since the PSP 2000 faceplate would come with Moon-shaped face buttons, I would use that button strip with the faceplate instead of the original ones already in my PSP right? Do they work the same? Will PSP 2000 buttons work on my PSP 3000?

My guess right now is it will work FINE, but I will have PSP 2000 face buttons. Is that right?

P.S. If PSP 2000 faceplates don't fit PSP 3000s, make a Piano WHITE faceplate for the 3000 next! Hehehe!

Awww, so PSP 2000 faceplates won't fit?

I've seen Chrome, Crystal, and Smooth Black.

I REALLY like the smooth black, but it's just for the front of the PSP right?
That might look kind of weird
