I don't know how it solved your disconnect issues but it does nothing for me, in fact when I went to check the setting it was already off and I am getting repeated disconnects since first use.....Just as a side note some games like Battlefield Bad Company do not support swithching triggers with bumpers, so even though you would like to ..you can't use the 360 triggers as triggers!!

So aggrevating, Is SONY for real! Someone should tell Dice and EA to pull their heads out of their collective asses and patch the controlls for this game...as it is (Backwards) it is COMPLETLY unplayable.

Besides the disconnects the XCM seems to do what it claims.

There is a new version of the cross battle adapter coming out in the next few weeks that will correct the disconnect issues some people are having. Only about 20-30% of the ps3 consoles are affected so its not a huge deal, but definately annoying if you are having this problem. Best thing to do is just wait until the newer version comes in and then send yours back to the dealer (only if you are having disconnect issues) and get the newer version with the updated chip. Not much else can be done in the meantime :/

Great news - I've already sent mine back. The company I bought mine from even refunded my return shipping costs.

Will keep a lookout and re-order when the new one becomes available. Thanks!

Are the people who will be sending back their adapters to get the updated/working one expected to pay the $20 difference?
It would seem very unfair to expect customers who already bought the product to have to spend additional money just to have the feature of "not broken".

No not unless you want the new plus version. The updated and fixed version of the original will be the same price but will obviously not support rumble.

That's good to know.
Is there any way of knowing when the updated originals will be available at retailers? I got mine from TotalConsole.

Ask them, they aren't affiliated with us. We only communicate directly with our retailers
