Can I use an external keyboard with a XFPS Force 4.0?

Which XFSP model is best for Call of Duty W at War 2 for Playstation 3?

The Rateup? Or The Force 4.0?

Also, the Force 4.0 requires that you plug in your laptop for use as a keyboard. Is it possible to use an external USB keyboard plugged into the LAPTOP instead of the builtin laptop keyboard?
