The general rule of thumb is to use as dumb of a device as possible. Smarter devices tend to use drivers to fine tune their movement and some may not be supported if a device driver must be loaded for the device to work. Just try another mouse, preferrably a cheap one and you should have better results. Also take to to account it will not be exactly the same as a pc. It will take about 30-45mins worth of adjustment time and you need to keep an open mind about it. If you do that then you will be more than happy with the device, but if you go into it expecting it to emulate your pc 100% then you will be dissappointed.
