Exchanging the Cross Battle Adapter

Hi,

I contacted the retailer I got my V1 Cross Battle Adapter, and they said that the fixed version (not the plus rumble model) would cost an additional $20.

Is there any way I can deal with XCM in a more direct manner to trade my adapter for a (non-rumble) fixed adapter? If so, what would be the best way to do this (sending it to China could be expensive and slow)?

Who did you buy it from? The fixed version should not cost anymore extra and i know extreme-mods is not charging extra, they only charge extra for the plus version with rumble which they just got in today.

Cant see the new Plus adaptor anywhere on extreme-mods website? Do you have a direct link to the item?

I just ordered a PLUS version from extreme-mods. I am getting it in 2 days, I will post a review when i receive it.

I am going to mail back the 2 normal ones that dont work sometime this week, and they said they will refund my credit card payment.

Not really sure why my posts were deleted, doesn't make me feel very safe about the way XCM handles stuff.

Anyway, I ordered a 2nd one from extreme-mods yesterday. Not sure if it's because of my email or what but they finally added USPS to their shipping options. So I can handle $8 alot better then $16.

USPS has always been a shipping option with them, it is the cheapest and many times the quickest, UPS is more expensive because they do not get the qty discount some places do, due to the fact they've only been shipping with ups for about 6 months, as time goes on it will get cheaper.

I got it from *******.
I've been in talks with them about the "fixed" version, and they claim they don't have it.
They just say they have the original blue one they always had and the new black plus edition for $20 more.
Is there nothing I can do at this point?

I'm having the same issue. Got mine from ****** as well. I mean, the adapter works flawlessly for the most part - it's just the occasion disconnects that requires me to get off the couch to reconnect the thing. OH, and I went to the Power Save Settings, and it was already off. So much for the fix. WHAT CAN I DO!?!
