Exchanging the Cross Battle Adapter

Why was the name of the retailer considered to be an unsupported reseller? I got that retailer's address from XCM's website: http://www.xcm.cc/
They list it as a place to buy it right on the front page. It's even listed for the plus adapter.

Yes but they are not supported here. Extreme-Mods supports this site with money and help, other sites do not. Without extreme-mods this place would not exist, period. And until another reseller puts money and time into this place, they will not be listed. If you enjoy this place you should show your gratitude by shopping with extreme-mods and email them to say thanks.

So... am I to understand I will not be receiving support from XCM and their official support team because of where I bought their product?

If that's the case, I don't really understand why I should be offering any gratitude.

No thats not what i said, but that is why their url and site is not allowed tobe posted here. If people feel like helping you then they will, this is an open community. Otherwise you are free to find somewhere else to obtain your support from. We aren't forcing you to be here, but at the same time we will not allow sites to benefit from this place when they have not contributed, thats just not fair to those who have contributed. Kapesh?

I did get mine first "blue" adapter from *****.
I did send it back 'cause of the disconnect problem,

After some emails from the customer support they finally sent me the new plus version, I didnt have to pay anything extra..... Just hopes it will work perfectly now...

Just an FYI, extreme-mods has also swapped some units with the new plus version as well. Also if you have a pending backorder for the original version they are willing to split the difference to upgrade their customers to the latest plus version of the unit. Just contact them to discuss how to make the extra payment.

i just got the plus version but my ps3 just says 'an unknown usb device has been connected ' any ideas ? is it faulty ?

Sounds like it may be faulty. Try another usb port and see if that works.
