XFPS Rateup Adapter for PS3 - F1 Manual Not Appearing

Hello.

I just purchased the XFPS Rateup Adapter for the PS3 and am having problems getting it set up. I have watched the setup video multiple times and still get the same problem. Here are the steps I am taking and the step that the set up is failing at:


1) I start a game, in this case COD4 World at War, and pause it using the Sixxaxis controller.

2) I connect the mouse and keyboard (both USB) to the XFPS adapter. Keyboard on the left port, mouse on the right port.

3) I connect the XFPS adapter to my PS3 and ensure that my Sixxaxis controller is using channel 1.

4) The second LED on the adapater lights up and I ensure that the switch is in the "Default" position (all the way to the left).

5) When I press the "F1" key on my keyboard, instead of getting the manual, I instead go to the PS3 main screen.


Step 5 is where the set up fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to watch the video where it shows you how to switch the xfps to controller slot 1 and the six axis to 2, this will allow the unit to work properly.

lol they say "manual" but what they mean is ps3 screen, exactly what ur getting, its working fine my friend

The folks who made the video are from china, so you'll have to excuse their misuse of the english language some. They are pretty good at it for the most part, but once in awhile you'll notice an error.
