Unhappy Help - Can't disable rapid fire on my hyper gear lite

Hello XCM-Forum,
I recently bought the XCM Hyper gear lite case, did not have any troubles installing it, and everything except one problem is working fine.
My only problem is, that I can't turn off the rapid fire mode for all buttons. No matter in which position the swich is, I can only play with rapid fire...

Does anybody have an Idea how to solve this problem? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
How can I check if anything on my Hyper gear lite PCB is defective?
I don't think I made a mistake when installing the PCB, because everything works fine and every button responds (rapidly) when I press it.. I checked the connections several times, and I still don't see anythin I could have done wrong.

Please help me!

Personally i really dont have any first hand experience with this unit, i don't have a nintendo ds lite to try it out on :/ Anyhow it could be a silder bridge or something similar on a part not suppose to be bridged, so you'll have to check closely to make sure thats not the problem. Other than that it could be a broken switch, maybe check the switch with a multimeter if possible to see if its breaking the connection when off or not, if not then the switch is probably bad. Other than that i'm not sure what else may be the cause of the problem. You may want to get ahold of the factory directly at xcm.cc and shoot them an email, they have people on staff that would be abit more able to troubleshoot the problem.

I already contacted xcm.cc, no response..
I have checked the contacs on the Hyper gear lite PCB and found 2 parts touching which i thought mustn't touch and I seperated them.. Result was a permanently pressed B button (with autofire), I reconnected these parts and everything turned normal...
The switch seems to be OK, i could not open it (wasn't as easy as I thought, afraid of breaking the PCB), I don't really know how my multimeter can check that the swith is working correctly, there are several contact points.

xcmlive, probably won't answer any technical emails, so your best bet is with xcm.cc

1 week without answer, I think I have to give up...
I uninstalled the Hyper Gear lite PCB and installed it on a different DSlite Mainboard, with the same result.. I'm pretty sure the hyper gear lite PCB is broken..
Do you think I can return it to the reseller (since it's defective) or is this impossible, because it's a DIY-Part?
Greetings from Germany..

You should be able to return it to whomever you bought it from and have it replaced. If you installed it on 2 units and the same thing happens on both, then its definately a defective unit.

I got an answer from xcm.cc (seems like xcmlive forwarded my mail to them), they asked me to check 2 connections which were intact, they replied again and also told me to get a new one.. And the also apologized for this..
Thanks for your help!

Just to let you know:
I finally ordered a new one, this one is working as it should. Awesome product, even though I had to spend the money twice..
