We want to let people know there has been a revision to the circuit board on the Rapid Fire Gear controllers to fix some problems people may have encountered when installing this mod. This change took place on the controller case itself and not to anything else. Exactly what it fix's is still unknown, but further updates will be posted as we get more information. The 2 pictures attached to this thread illustrates the 2 different versions of the circuit boards that are now being sold with the latest version of the XCM Rapid Fire Gear.
The older version is labeled 360T and the newer version is labeled 360T2.
Stores like
www.Extreme-Mods.com have been selling the latest version for over a week now, so you can be confident when ordering with them that you are getting the latest version and not a previous batch which may or may not have problems when being installed on certain controllers.
This latest revision is an example of how XCM is willing to stand behind their product and fix problems as they arise. If you need the latest fix, please contact your retailer who you bought your mod from and they should be able to get the new part out to you for a minimal cost.
Only one part per Rapid Fire Gear will be sent, so please do not request any extras.
To install this new circuit board you simply need to unscrew the old one that is attached to the controller case and screw in the new one, it should take less than 5 minutes to perform the swap and then you can plug in the ribbon cable you had installed on your controllers pcb and everything should work correctly.
