I'll be as brief as I can: plugging everything in and setting 720p as a resolution on the PS3, gets me a right-shifted and wrong scaled image on both my LCD monitors. I'll show you a picture of the widescreen monitor displaying a 1280x720 signal. This is not the PS3 (I borrowed it from a friend of mine, had to give it back), but my PC sending a component signal. The result is pretty much the same, except for the fact that using the PC i can work on the image and fix it, but can't do so.

Sorry for the crappy picture :P
Same thing happens on my CRT Sony Multiscan, but on that one I can easily move the image and scale it(can't be done on the lcd) to get it centered and with right proportions.
I tried using a Wii too, and on lower resolution (720x480p) everything seems to work fine. I tried on the ps3 the 576p resolution (my console is PAL version), but it doesn't seem to work as it should, even if it is much better than 720p.
I'll post the wii pictures too.
Does anybody have any idea what is wrong with my setup? Might it be the console screwing up? Or the XCM unit faulty? I tried both the XCM cable and the Sony original cable (I had it on my PS2). I can fix it by using the CRT monitor, but I'd like it better to work on the LCDs.
Thanks
