Hi Thanks for having me on your site. I bought a xbox 360 before Christmas & added the the dual high speed fans with the temp sending units & the led read out.I,m quite pleased with it.I also bought the XCM 360 core cooler(deep Blue Core) to go along with it but the instructions are for an older model that doesn't look like my console at all.The heat sink on mine is longer & higher than the one in the instructions. The only thing that comes close to the instructions I need are for XCM 360 core cooler v2 that I downloaded off your web site. The fan for that looks much smaller than the one I received,to be able to fit behind & level with the heat sink. My Question is,is there a way to make this fan work for a newer console & is there a tutorial or am I S,O,O,L. Thank you for your time in replying davewill |

It sounds like you have the core cooler v1 and a newer console. Thats fine, but the newer core cooler v2 is better suited to your console. The only thing you will have to do to get the older model to work is you'll need to modify the fan so it will fit, which may require some dremeling or shaving some off the casing and it should fit just fine.

Thanks for your reply I played around with it for about 45min,trying to find a place to put it.Horizontal, verticle but the housing is too large for the newer console.I think I will incorperate it into the orig. xbox & buy a v2. Thanks again. davewill |
