Default My thoughts on Cheating when using Rapid Fire / Turbo

Well i get alot of people asking if the turbo / rapid fire works with certain games, and it seems most of them want them to work on the first person shooter of the moment. Also alot of people ask if they will get you banned when using it online or if its been tested to work on certain games. This applies to the xfps sniper, xfps rateup, xcm rapid fire gear, xcm cross battle adapter, xcm dominator joystick and etc. In my opinion turbo and rapid fire should NOT be used online to gain a competitive advantage. People complain about cheaters but then turn around and cheat themselves, this is not healthy. The rapid fire / turbo features should be used like cheat codes, in that once you get bored or stuck in a game you can enable it to aide you in getting past a certain point. Or when a game gets boring and you just want to mess around. But either way do not use it when online. Personally i hope they do ban people when being used online as its unfair and only serves to aggrevate other users. What does everyone else think about this problem? Let me know your opinions

I agree, people who use it online should be banned, but if they use it like on campaign then its fine. I do use a rapid fire controller but I like to use it on a campaign. I think it adds a little something to it.

Exactly, it just suprises me how many people ask if its steathly enough to use online which imo is just sad. Use it how it was meant to be used and don't cheat online and you'll be more than happy with the product. Not to mention if you win online and you use this kind of device to do it then you feel somewhat cheated yourself, being that you didn't really earn the accomplishment you cheated your way to it. Do yourself a favor and forget about using them online and just enjoy them offline or during campaign mode and you won't regret it. Theres nothing wrong with using this controller online just as long as you don't use the rapid fire mode when playing competively.

Speaking of offline campaign modes, do any of you know which games don't enforce a human-like rate of fire? I think I'm going to pick up a few new shooters and I want to use my Rapid Fire Gear Pro to the fullest extent.

You could say that using a Joystick is cheating if you wanted to

I'm mainly against Lagging, lag boxes ect and glitches.

Using a joystick is not cheating, it still requires the manual input and skills required to pull of special moves that a regular controller does. Using a joystick with macros online is cheating, and should not be tolerated.

While I find using these devices in an online game shady they can't replace a good player. Sure your going to get lucky camping in a corner but where is the fun in that?

As for the combo recording fight stick, completely useless in the hands of a novice. You'll work your way up the ranks in ranked play till you get to a point where throwing out meaningless combos all the time will be to your DISADVANTAGE.

I see no reason in rapid fire, singleplayer or multiplayer. The combo recording stick on the other hand might be fun in singleplayer.
