Who needs a fridge? Hehe, jk
It doesn't sound like something is wrong with the cable, try moving the console you are using along with the tv to a different outlet, prefferably one not inline with your fridge. The fridge might be causing an overload on the circuit and dropping the voltage to your television and your console thus making it blink. Its kinda like a mini brown out.
