 Cross Battle Adapter PLUS repair
So my Cross Battle Adapter PLUS has had issues connecting and I think there is a problem at the top of the USB head. I've talked about this on a flash forum and their solution was to either:
A) Cannibalize a USB cable, cut the heads off both, solder the wires, heat wrap and play
B) Open the Adapter, apply heat and remove the wires, re-solder a USB cable to where I removed the wires, close the cross battle adapter.
I don't know where I put the recite (or if I even got one) when I purchased mine but I do know it's less than (or JUST at) a year old. Not sure where my "warranty" stands but I'm guessing if I open it it'll be void (if it isn't already expired).
So my questions are:
1) Has anyone had this issue?
2) Anyone have any advice?
3) What can XCM do for me on the matter (besides sell me the new 2.0)?
and I guess
4) If all else fails, how much is a PLUS today and how much is a 2.0
AND
5) What are the differences between a 2.0 and my PLUS?
