Ahh ok, i thought brute force was needed if you didn't have the dvd drive that came with the original motherboard, my bad. I haven't really done much with dvd drives except put in a new laser and drive motor, thats about as far as i'll go with one. I had no idea some drives don't like boards from others, but it makes sense. Anyhow good luck with your sale
